AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2025 (Job in Guwahati, AIIMS): The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has issued an employment notification inviting applications for multiple contractual positions under an ICMR-funded research project titled:

“Probiotic-Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG Supplementation on Behavior, Quality of Life, and Gut Microbiome Composition in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Randomized Controlled Trial.”

These positions are purely on a temporary contractual basis under the supervision of the Head of the Pediatrics Department at AIIMS, Guwahati.

  • Qualification: Three years graduate degree in Psychology
  • Experience: Three years post-qualification experience or PG in Psychology
  • Desirable:
    • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Assamese
  • Emoluments: ₹33,600/- per month (including 20% HRA)
  • Upper age limit: 35 years

• Senior Project Assistant
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, or relevant field
  • Experience: Minimum three years of relevant work experience
  • Desirable:
    • Bachelor’s of Occupational Therapy (BOT)
    • Bachelor’s of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
    • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in research, laboratory work, or public health.
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Emoluments: ₹30,600/- per month
  • Upper age limit: 35 years

• Data Entry Operator
  • Qualification: Graduate in Computer Science or any discipline with one year of data entry experience
  • Experience: One year of data entry experience
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of SPSS, Excel, and research data management tools.
    • One year of data entry experience
  • Emoluments: ₹29,200/- per month
  • Upper age limit: 30 years

AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2025 – Roles and Responsibilities

• Project Technical Support-III
  • Conduct psychological assessments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Administer standardized tools such as CBCL, ATEC, and QoLA questionnaires.
  • Ensure ethical handling of assessments and accurate data collection.
  • Assist in participant recruitment and informed consent acquisition.
  • Coordinate with the research team for behavioral assessments and microbiome analysis.

• Senior Project Assistant
  • Oversee participant enrollment, consent, and documentation.
  • Collect and transport stool samples for microbiome analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with LGG supplement intake and follow-up visits.
  • Maintain records of participant adherence and adverse events.
  • Assist in research reports and regulatory documentation.

• Data Entry Operator
  • Manage and input research data into structured databases.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity for analysis.
  • Generate reports using SPSS, Excel, and other research tools.
  • Support the research team with data validation and record management.
