Eligibility of AESRB Recruitment for Assistant Professor (Technical)
- Qualification Criteria:
- For Sl. No. 1 to 5 (Engineering Departments):
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. (4-year degree) and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or integrated M.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in either degree.
- For Sl. No. 6 (Computer Application):
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. (4-year degree) and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or integrated M.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in either degree. Alternatively, B.E./B.Tech. and MCA with First Class or equivalent in either degree. Or, Graduation in any stream (with Mathematics) and MCA with First Class and 2 years of teaching/research/industrial experience post-MCA.
- Ph.D. Qualification: Candidates who have obtained a Ph.D. degree after completing their Bachelor’s from institutions of national importance with GATE/CEED are eligible for the post.
Selection Process of AESRB Recruitment for Assistant Professor (Technical)
- The recruitment will consist of the following stages:
- OMR-MCQ Based Written Examination (75 Marks)
- 75 questions, 1 mark per correct answer.
- Negative marking: 0.25 for each incorrect answer.
- Teaching Proficiency Test (25 Marks)
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for this test.
- Note: Candidates must bring their original documents for verification during the Teaching Proficiency Test.
- The necessary guidelines/instructions relating to OMR-MCQ based Written Examination and Teaching Proficiency Test will be notified in due course of time in the official website of AESRB.

- The final selection list will be submitted to the Government for approval and will be published on the official AESRB website.
