Age and Experience Criteria for Candidates (As of 1st April of the Year of Appointment)
(a) Army Spouses:
- Below 40 years: No teaching experience required.
- 40 to 57 years: 40 to 57 years: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, which is cumulative.
Note: For TGT positions, experience gained as PRT will be accepted if it aligns with the qualifications set by regulatory bodies.
(b) Others (Experience):
- Below 40 years: Fresh candidates with no teaching experience are eligible to apply.
- 40 to 57 years: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience within the last 10 years.
Note: The 5 years of experience must be in the appropriate category. PRT experience will not count for TGT appointments, but PRT experience is accepted for TGT if it meets the qualifications set by regulatory bodies.

Essential:
