Guwahati Jal Board Recruitment 2025 (Job in Guwahati, Assam): The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDW&SB) has issued an employment notification inviting eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview to fill 16 contractual positions in the newly commissioned District Metering Areas (DMAs) under the Guwahati Water Supply Project.

Guwahati Jal Board Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: Class 10 (X) pass.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ITI certification in plumbing/pump operation/valve operation.
- Or relevant experience certified by a competent authority.
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (as on the date of the interview).
- Job Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance and inspection of water supply networks.
- Identifying and repairing leakages and illegal connections.
- Handling public service complaints.
- Operation and upkeep of pumps, valves, booster systems.
- Keeping maintenance logs and reporting urgent faults.
- Executing other duties assigned by the authority.
