Assam VFA Training Course 2025: The Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam invites online applications from eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam for admission to the 1-Year Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) Training Course for the session 2024–25. The course will be conducted at the School of Veterinary Science & A.H., Ghungoor, Silchar, and its extended campuses.
Applications will be accepted from 12:00 hrs on 14th June 2025 to 23:59 hrs on 13th July 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam VFA Training Course 2025
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST (P)/ST (H): 5 years
- Age Proof: Only HSLC Certificate or Admit Card issued by recognized Board/Council will be accepted.
Educational Qualification:
- HSSLC (Science) passed with Biology as a subject
- Must be from a recognized Board/University as per Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules (2002 & 2017 amendment)
Selection Procedure for Assam VFA Training Course 2025
Selection is based on a Personnel Assessment Test (PAT) of 100 marks:

- The Selection Board will ask 5 questions per candidate, each worth 4 marks.
