- Scale of Pay : Pay Band-2 of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time

- Selection Procedure : The Interview and the Selection Criteria shall be as per provision of Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Service Rules, 2002.
Eligibility Criteria of Assam Veterinary Field Assistant Recruitment
Age Limit :
- Minimum age: 18 years as of 01/01/2022
- Maximum age: 40 years as of 01/01/2025
- Upper age limit relaxable:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
- Age determined based on HSLC certificates/admit cards only.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have completed a one-year Veterinary Science training from the Govt. of Assam’s “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry” at Ghungoor, Silchar, and passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology as the basic qualification.
Physical Standard : Candidates must be in sound health, both mentally and physically, free from any defects that may affect job performance, and must undergo a medical examination before appointment.
