- Pay and Benefits
- Scale of Pay: Level-11 of the Pay Matrix with an entry pay of ₹67,700/- per month.
- In addition to the salary, candidates will be entitled to NPA and other allowances as admissible as per Institute rules.
- Tenure: The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable on an annual basis up to a maximum of three years. The extension will depend on the candidate’s performance, availability of positions, and the willingness of the Senior Resident Doctor (SRD).
- Training Requirement: Selected candidates must attend a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Biomedical Waste Management training organized by the Institute. A certificate must be submitted for yearly extensions.
- Compulsory Duty in Emergency: Senior Resident Doctors may be required to perform duties in the Emergency Department as per patient care requirements.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates employed under State or Central Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies must produce an NOC from their respective authorities. Without this, they will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
- Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided based on availability.

- To be eligible for the Senior Resident Doctor positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution.
- Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized institution/university.
- Medical Registration under MCI or the State Medical Council.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate must be below 45 years of age.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per government norms:
- 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
- 3 years relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
- Further age relaxation for physically handicapped candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
