Essential Qualification and Pay Scale of NIT Silchar Recruitment 2025
1. Internal Audit Officer
Pay: ₹65,000.00 per month
Duration: 11 months (extendable for up to 3 years based on performance)
No. of Posts: 01 (Contractual)
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum Master’s degree with 55% aggregate marks in any discipline.
- Retired Government Officers with experience as Senior Audit Officer/Accounts Officer or equivalent in AG/C&AG/Government/Semi-Government/PSUs/Central Education Institutions.
- Candidates should have wide experience in auditing, accounting, establishment & administrative matters like pay fixation, pension rules, stores & purchase, construction works, research, and projects.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience at the level of Senior Audit Officer/Accounts Officer or equivalent in AG/C&AG/Government/Semi-Government/PSUs/Central Education Institutions.
Desirable:
- Preference will be given to candidates who have retired as Senior Audit Officer or equivalent level in AG/C&AG.
Age Limit:
- Candidate should not have attained the age of 65 years as of 01.03.2025.
Contract Duration:
- Initially 11 months, extendable based on performance.
Remuneration:
- ₹65,000.00 per month (with possible increments as per institute norms).
2. Medical Officer
Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
Duration: 6 months (extendable for up to 2 years based on performance)
No. of Posts: 01 (Contractual)
Essential Qualifications:
- MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
- Registration with the State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification, preferably MD, in General Medicine or equivalent recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Age Limit:
- Candidate should not have attained the age of 30 years as of 01.03.2025.
Contract Duration:
- Initially 6 months, extendable based on performance.
Remuneration:
- ₹60,000.00 per month (with possible increments as per institute norms).
3. System Engineer/Software Engineer
Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
Duration: 11 months (extendable for up to 3 years based on performance)
No. of Posts: 02 (Contractual)
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent, or MCA with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university/institute.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in MVC Framework, Web Development Frameworks (e.g., Spring), PHP, Java Technologies, J2EE technologies (JSP, JDBC), HTML5, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, Postgres SQL.
- Experience in database administration and software development lifecycle models.
Age Limit:
- Candidate should not have attained the age of 30 years as of 01.03.2025.
Contract Duration:
- Initially 11 months, extendable based on performance.
Remuneration:
- ₹40,000.00 per month (with possible increments as per institute norms).
