Essential Qualifications of Tezpur University Recruitment 2025
(A) Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the relevant subject (English) from an accredited Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. Requirement:
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC (such as SLET/SET).
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC regulations are exempt from the NET/SET/SLET requirement.
OR
(B) International Qualification:
The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Rankings (as per QS, THE, or ARWU).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching experience in Open and Distance Learning.
- Experience in writing and editing Self-learning Materials.
- Proficiency in Online Content Development.
- Experience in the production of Audio-Video materials.

Selection Criteria for Guest Faculty at Tezpur University:
