Jorhat District Job Vacancy: Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of the village(s) or lot for which they are applying.
- Family Planning Compliance: As per Govt. Notification No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24 dated 19/07/2019, applicants must not have more than two living children.
- Those with more than two children born before the date of the notification are exempted.
- A sworn affidavit declaring the number of children, their names, ages, and birthdates must be submitted.
- Age: Applicant must be at least 30 years old as on 01/01/2025, and not above 65 years.
- Proof of age (HSLC Admit Card or Birth Certificate) must be enclosed.
- Education: Must have passed Class 10 (HSLC) from a Board/Institution recognized by the Government of Assam.
- Physical & Mental Health: Must be physically fit and of sound mind.
- Financial Integrity: Must not be a defaulter of government loans or declared bankrupt.
- A loan clearance certificate must be attached.
- Family Preference: Preference will be given to a family member of a former Gaonburha. Mouzadar’s recommendation may also be considered.
- Employment Status: Must not be a government employee.
- Property Ownership: Applicant must have land/immovable property in their name in the concerned area.
- Recent land records (jamabandi), landholding proof, and revenue receipts must be attached.
- Political Neutrality: Applicant must not be affiliated with any political party.
- Community Service: Should be willing to assist with government schemes and disaster management duties.
- Social Standing: Must be a respected and responsible person in the community.
