Tezpur University Recruitment 2025 (Job in Tezpur, Assam): Tezpur University has issued an employment notification inviting applications from eligible and dynamic candidates for the position of Assistant Professor (on a contractual basis) in the Department of Design. The appointment is temporary and will be made as per the norms of the University and relevant UGC/AICTE regulations.

• Number of Positions: 02 (Two) – Assistant Professor (Contractual)
• Emoluments: Fixed Remuneration of ₹80,000/- per month (No additional allowances or benefits will be provided)

Tezpur University Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

1. Academic Qualifications:
   • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4-year Diploma in Design / Fine Arts / Applied Arts / Architecture
     OR
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with First Class or equivalent
     AND
   • Master’s Degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent in the following areas:
     • Industrial Design
     • Visual Communication
     • Fine Arts / Applied Arts
     • Architecture
     • Interaction Design / New Media Studies
     • Design Management
     • Ergonomics / Human Factors Engineering
     • Indian Craft Studies and allied Engineering or Design fields
2. Professional Experience:
   • Minimum 2 years of professional design experience in industry, research organization, or design practice.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Design / Interaction Design / Product Design / Visual Communication Design
• Teaching or research experience in a University / Institute of National Importance
• Relevant industry experience
