NRL Advisor Vacancy 2025 (NRL Job Notification 2025): Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has issued an employment notification inviting applications for the contractual engagement of Advisor (Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project, NREP).
NRL is currently executing a major expansion project that includes ramping up its refinery capacity from 3 MMTPA to 9 MMTPA, importing crude oil at Paradip Port, and laying a cross-country pipeline from Paradip to Numaligarh. To support the pre-commissioning and commissioning of NREP units, NRL seeks highly skilled professionals with expertise in Utility/Refinery process operations.

- Engagement Period: The engagement will be for 12 months from the date of joining, with possible extensions based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria of NRL Advisor Vacancy 2025
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Retired officers with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry as a subject or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years in Utility/Refinery process units in Operation.
- Candidates should have superannuated from PSU/Govt./Private organizations at a minimum grade of D’ in CPSU.
- Must have no pending or contemplated vigilance case, departmental proceedings, or criminal prosecution at the time of retirement.
- Upper Age Limit: 65 years (as of 17.04.2025)
Scope of Work of NRL Advisor(NREP)
The selected Advisor will be responsible for:
- Implementing pre-commissioning and commissioning protocols for all NREP units.
- Assisting in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to operational safety guidelines.
- Providing hands-on and strategic guidance for smooth commissioning of the refinery units.
NRL Advisor Vacancy 2025 – Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly remuneration based on the last held grade:
- Minimum Grade D’: ₹1,12,500/- per month.
- Higher remuneration may be provided for officers retiring from higher grades.
- The remuneration is all-inclusive, with no additional allowances. Statutory deductions like TDS will apply.
- TA/DA will be provided as per NRL rates.
- Work Schedule: The advisor will follow regular office hours but may be required to work on weekends or holidays as needed.
- Leave Policy: Entitled to 20 days paid leave per year (on a pro-rata basis). Company holidays of NRL will apply.
