ISRO Recruitment for 320 Vacancies: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, Government of India, invites online applications from highly motivated and meritorious BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree holders for the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’. Total number of posts is 320.
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹ 56,100/- p.m.

ISRO Recruitment for 320 Vacancies: Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
- Candidates must have completed BE/B.Tech or equivalent in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
- Graduation should be completed within the prescribed duration of the course.
- Candidates who are in the final year and expecting to graduate in the academic year 2024–25 are also eligible to apply, provided the final degree is available by 31 August 2025 and they meet the marks/CGPA criteria.
- Allied engineering disciplines accepted under Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science will be specified in the FAQs on the official website.
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit is 28 years as of 16 June 2025.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Central Government employees.
Application Fee & Selection Process for ISRO Recruitment 2025
- A non-refundable application fee of ₹250 is applicable.
- However, all applicants must initially pay ₹750 per application as a processing fee.
- Full refund (₹750) is available for candidates exempted from application fee (Women, SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) if they appear for the written test.
- Refund of ₹500 for other categories if they appear for the written test.
- Application fee payment must be made only through online mode via Bharatkosh portal, using Internet Banking, UPI, Debit or Credit Card (Domestic).
- No other forms of payment are accepted.
- Last date to pay the fee is 18 June 2025.
Selection Process
1. Written Test
- The written test will be held at eleven centres: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
- ISRO reserves the right to change or cancel test centres and reassign candidates.
- Admit cards will be sent only to the registered email addresses.
2. Pattern of Written Examination
- Duration: 120 minutes (additional time for PwBD candidates).
- Part A: Discipline-Specific – 80 MCQs of 1 mark each (+1 for correct, -1/3 for incorrect).
- Part B: Aptitude/Ability – 15 MCQs totaling 20 marks (no negative marking).
3. Interview
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in the ratio of 1:5 based on written test performance (with at least 10 candidates per post).
- Separate shortlisting for reserved category vacancies, independent of general category shortlisting.
4. Interview Evaluation Criteria
- Technical Knowledge: 40 marks
- Technical General Awareness: 20 marks
- Communication Skills: 20 marks
- Comprehension: 10 marks
- Academic Achievements: 10 marks
- Institute Type (IIT/IISc/NIT or NIRF top 20): 3 marks
- Academic Performance (CGPA ≥ 9 or % > 85): 4 marks; CGPA 7.5–9 or % 71–85: 2 marks
- Institute Rank (1 to 3): 3 marks
