Duties & Responsibilities
The Field Officer will work at the Revenue Circle Office under the supervision of the Circle Officer and District Project Officer, DDMA. Key responsibilities include:
- Create and manage WhatsApp groups to communicate disaster alerts.
- Disseminate alerts received from SEOC/DEOC to Gaonburhas, teachers, and departmental officials.
- Assist in preparing and updating disaster management plans at village, GP, and circle levels.
- Conduct awareness and capacity-building programs.
- Maintain database of critical infrastructures and committee activities.
- Submit daily flood reports during flood seasons.
- Update life-saving equipment status in the ASDMA MIS portal quarterly.
- Coordinate disaster management activities at the Circle level.
- Submit regular performance and progress reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by ASDMA.
