Eligibility Criteria for CISF Head Constable Recruitment 2025

1. Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 12th class from a recognized educational institution.
  • Additionally, the candidate must have represented the State/Nation/University/School in the relevant sports discipline.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

  • 18 to 23 years
    (Born between 02 August 2002 and 01 August 2007, both inclusive)
  • Age Relaxation:
    • Departmental Candidates: Up to 45 years for SC/ST and 40 years for Gen/EWS/OBC
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years

3. Sports Eligibility

  • Individual Events
    • Must have:
      • Represented the country in Senior/Junior international tournaments
        OR
      • Represented a State/Equivalent unit in National level championships
        OR
      • Won medals in All India Inter-University or National School Games
  • Team Events
    • Must have:
      • Represented the country or State in Senior/Junior level
        OR
      • Been a medal-winning team member in All India Inter-University/National School Games
        Note: Only performances between 01 January 2023 to 06 June 2025 will be considered.

4. Physical Standards

  • For Male Candidates:
    • Height: 167 cm
    • Chest: 81–86 cm (minimum expansion of 5 cm)
  • For Female Candidates:
    • Height: 153 cm
    • Chest: Not applicable
  • Relaxations in height and chest are applicable for candidates from specific regions such as Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Scheduled Tribes, and others. Refer to the official notification for details

    • Visit the CISF official website: https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in.
    • Click on “Login” → then “New Registration”.
    • Fill in your:
      • Personal details (Name, DOB, Gender, etc.)
      • Contact details (Mobile number & Email ID)
      • Upload photograph and signature as per the specified format.
    • Submit the form to receive your Registration ID & Password on email/SMS.
      Note: Make sure the details match exactly with your Matriculation Certificate.
  • Step 2: Fill Online Application
    • Login using your Registration ID and Password.
    • Click on “HEAD CONSTABLE (GD) AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2025”.
    • Your saved details will appear automatically; fill in any remaining fields.
    • Upload:
      • Recent photograph (with date on it)
      • Signature
      • Scanned documents (Age proof, 10th certificate, educational qualification)
    • Preview your form, then Submit.
    • Pay the application fee (if applicable) through:
      • UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or
      • SBI Challan (takes up to 48 hours for confirmation).
    • After submission, take a printout of the application form for future reference.
