The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the recruitment of 65 Assam Fisheries Development Officer (FDO) positions under the Fishery Department of Assam. The online application process starts from February 24, 2025.

- Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Fisheries Development Officer (FDO)
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Indian Constitution.
- Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and should provide a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency.
Educational Qualification for Assam Fisheries Development Officer (FDO)
A Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) degree from an institution recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Alternatively, a Diploma in Fisheries Science (D.F.Sc.) or a Master of Science in Fisheries from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai, or any other ICAR institute is acceptable.
