Arunachal Pradesh Judicial Service Grade-III Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Arunachal Pradesh Judicial Service Grade-III positions, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A degree in Law granted by a recognized university established by law in India.
- Age Limit:
- For Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) candidates: Not exceeding 38 years as of the last date of application.
- For Others: Not exceeding 35 years as of the last date of application.
- Candidates should be Indian citizens and must not have been dismissed from any governmental service or involved in criminal activity.
Arunachal Pradesh Judicial Service Grade-III – Examination Process
- The recruitment process will consist of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Marks: 100
- Topics: English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Constitution of India, Indian Penal Code, Code of Civil Procedure, Indian Contract Act, Law of Torts, and more.
- Selection: 10 candidates will be selected for each vacancy based on their preliminary exam performance, in a 1:10 ratio.
- Final Written Examination:
- Paper-I: English (Essay writing, Precis writing, Grammar)
- Paper-II: General Knowledge & Aptitude
- Paper-III: Law Paper I (Constitution of India, Code of Civil Procedure, Transfer of Property Act, Indian Contract Act)
- Paper-IV: Law Paper II (Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Law of Torts, etc.)
- Viva-Voce/Interview:
- Marks: 70
- Candidates will be selected based on a combined performance in the written exam and viva-voce/interview

How to Apply for Arunachal Pradesh Judicial Service Grade-III
The application process is online only. Follow these steps to apply:
- Phase 1: Register as an applicant by providing essential details (Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email ID). A Registration Code will be generated for further steps.
- Phase 2: Fill in your profile details, such as gender, category, address, qualifications, and upload your passport-sized photograph and signature (size and format must meet the specified requirements).
- Phase 3: After filling all details, review your information, and submit the candidature. Ensure that all required fields are filled correctly, and the photograph and signature are uploaded as per the instructions.
- Phase 4: After final submission, you must generate a Fee Payment Challan. The application fee payment can be made through State Bank of India (SBI) within two working days, using the Challan. Once payment is made, update your payment details in the application portal.
