ARIAS Society SWIFT Project Recruitment 2025: The ARIAS (Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services) Society is inviting applications from qualified professionals for multiple positions under the World Bank-funded SWIFT Project in various Cluster Project Implementation Units (CPIUs) across Assam. These are contractual roles aimed at strengthening project implementation and monitoring.

ARIAS Society Post-wise Qualifications & Experience
1. Accountant (5 Posts)
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce from a Government recognized university.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in financial accounting for projects/programs.
- Hands-on experience operating Tally accounting software.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial management procedures relevant to ADB/World Bank/externally funded projects.
CTP: ₹4,20,000 – ₹5,00,000 per annum.
2. Environmental Safeguards Coordinator (ESC) – 5 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two-year full-time residential program) in:
- Ecology & Environment / Environmental Science
- OR Master’s in Fisheries with specialization in Aquatic Environment Management
- OR a related subject.
Additional Training:
- Combination of specializations or additional training in environmental-related subjects is considered an asset.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of environment management, especially in managerial roles for externally aided projects or centrally sponsored government projects.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in internet-based applications.
- Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information System) will be an added advantage.
Language:
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of local language(s).
CTP: ₹6,60,000 – ₹8,40,000 per annum.
Travel: Frequent field visits required.
3. Social Safeguards & Gender Coordinator (SS&GC) – 5 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Anthropology, or related fields from a recognized university/institute.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the social development sector.
- Proven experience in implementing social safeguards, gender equality, gender mainstreaming, diversity, and social inclusion programs.
- Experience in working with government offices and contractors in ADB/World Bank/other externally financed rural/remote area projects.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet usage.
- Must be able to assist the Cluster Project Coordinator with day-to-day data preparation tasks.
Language:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Assamese and/or Bengali is preferred.
Other Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in a complex, multi-stakeholder, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, social, interpersonal, and planning skills.
- Understanding of community dynamics.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in teams.

4. GIS and MIS Executive (GME) – 5 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in GIS and MIS systems.
- Preferred experience in externally aided projects or centrally sponsored government programs.
- Familiarity with:
- Spatial software like ArcGIS, QGIS
- Database management systems such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server
- MIS platforms.
Sector Knowledge:
- Experience in fisheries, wetlands, or natural resource management sector is desirable.
CTP: ₹6,60,000 – ₹8,40,000 per annum.
Travel: Project site visits required.
5. Junior Engineer (Civil) – 5 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- At least a 3-year Diploma (regular course) in:
- Civil Engineering
- Civil Engineering and Planning
- Construction Technology
from an AICTE-recognized technical institute.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in the above disciplines are also eligible.
- Note: Distance/online mode diplomas are not accepted.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, execution, and maintenance of civil engineering works.
- Preference for candidates with:
- Experience in similar capacities
- Work in externally aided programs financed by ADB, World Bank, or JICA.
Computer Skills:
- Proven expertise in:
- Internet-based applications
- MS Word and Excel
- Computer-aided engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Structural finite element analysis and design applications.
CTP: ₹6,60,000 – ₹7,20,000 per annum.
Travel: Site visits essential.
Contract Terms for All Posts
- Inclusions in CTP: Remuneration, communication allowance, travel, accommodation, food, taxes.
- Initial Duration: 11 months.
- Renewal: Based on performance and requirement.
- Payment: Monthly installments; quarterly performance-linked incentives.
